Canister Filters

I like this idea.. an Eheim 2262 and 2 AC 110s what about a 2080 and 2 AC110s.

I thought the canisters were more easy to maintain.. I'm still learning all this and new. I've been out of the loop for years now.. Can you explain please.?

You could do 2 AC110s and a 2080, just make sure you don't use the white pad that comes with it.

Tank Dementions will be 96x30x30 building the tank is fine. I'm a Finish carpenter/ cabinet maker by trade.. But this damn filtering system has me all fugged up.. lol I want my tank crisp and clean though, hoping this route is a good idea .. all the sump filter/wet dry systems some of you guys build are insane. Seems like it would be a lot of time on that end.

I was just thinking it would be easy with these canisters..

Sumps and w/d filters are easier to maintain and clean, but do take up more space.

I'm going to run an Eheim 2080 and a FX5, 2 AC110s and a couple power heads. Still figuring out my RF under gavel.

My big issue now is trying to find the measurements for the Hanger that hooks on the back of the tank on the AC110. How deep is that damn thing.? It tells me Length width and thickness but not how deep the hanger is. My tank walls will be 1 1/2 inch thick.. Can someone please take a measurement of the depth of it. I'm going to start building my tank next week.. I'll have it fully assembled and glued and screwed in a day. I can build around it and make that area 3/4 if need be.

Good powerhead to use is the Koralia water circulator by Hydor.
