Canister filters

What type of canister filter do you use and why?

i use filstar xp2, xp3, and fluval 404

i use them because they have good flow rate and keep my tanks vry clean, and are vry easy to use.

i have an xp2 on my 38 gal, xp2 + fluval 404 on one of my 75 gal tanks, and xp3 on my other 75 gal tank (turtle tank)

and when i get my 125 gal i will use 1 or 2 xp3's or an xp3 and an xp2.

Eheim 2217 on my 55g. Hopefully a 2080 when/if I ever get a 120g.

magnum 350 delux on my main tank. then i put a magnum HOT w/ biowheel on a 10g because that is the only filter i had lying around.

I like fluval the best and try to use them as much as possible.

magnum 350 deluxe also... good filter, keeps tanks very clean

magnum 350 here. I can change it from bio media station, to chemical/med/amonia etc. remover, to a partical remover depending on the media I use.

been using a couple of old eheims for years. they work great and my tanks are always clean.

anyone have any experience with the cascade canister filters? think I might head that way.
