very cool I will check out that site. I liked the AC 110 a lot and is why I bought one of the smaller versions for my daughters tanks. I will probably get that first then add the canister later. Thanks

Yeah it depends on your stock and the filtration you already have (if any) you may need both at some point.

Well I went ahead and ordered an AC110 for now. The 33.99 price talked me into it. I also ordered one of the 50's for my 20 gal as well. Finally getting rid of all of my whispers. I really hate those filters but they were cheap and is why I got them. I think for now I am just going to use the old whisper on my 56 with the new AC110. Will just fill the whisper up with Bio media for additional bio. May put a sponge on the intake tube to keep junk form getting into the bio media though. What do you all think? If price trick is still working when I get paid again I will probably just order another 110 and replace the whisper completely.

I will also have to see if both will fit on the back of my tank as it is a 56 tall not a long. It is only 36 in long instead of like 48.

I like canisters so I can get the tank closer to the wall. However, using an HOB is not below me. I've used them in conjunction w/ canisters w/ good results.
