im quite happy with my xp3. i have it running on a 120 gallon tank with a fluval 304 or something (for 40 gallon tanks). the fluval i mainly use for surface agitation. that said, im not sure on prices. i got my xp3 from someone that got it free so i bought it for cheap. im happy with it though!! no probs. i donthave a lot of fish though in the tank.
