Cannot determine problem with tank

It only kills stuff that goes through the UV sterilizer though...if your fish are sick, its not going to cure them.

I wouldnt run one on a reef. Maybe a large fish only where I figure that fish might be living with minor ailments, in a attempt to prevent the spread of disease.
 
It doesn't cure the disease directly on the fish, but for things like ich, it zaps the free swimming larvae and stops re-infection as each "white spot" turns into hundreds of new parasites.

This is well stated, I would just make sure the word some(not all) was added to this.
 
+1 to the above...it doesnt get the ones on the fish, all the ones in the water, or any of them in their dormant substrate stage.

Like I have said before, overstocked, under-cleaned fish only tanks can benefit from this, helping slightly to prevent or slow outbreaks.
