Cannot keep ropefish out of filter.

dont give up learn from it i lost my 1st 2 ropes 2 jumpn out but now i got 7 wit no probs anymore

that sucks, mine has never gotten out cause i dapped teflon to the open areas and all around the filter...try something like that and get some more their awsome! i am still tring to smuggle some more into the tank, it is tuff cause my wife hates snakes and anything like them lol...she just now noticed my month old peacock eel lol

Now that is a good idea, wish I had thought of that earlier.

Yeah, I honestly thought I did. I spent most of the afternoon after I got him messing around with it but somehow he managed to find the spot I missed. It is a real bummer because ropefish were one of those fish I've wanted since I started in on the hobby and have only now finally gotten one.

please get another one soon... this time it will all work out..

I don't know how quickly I'll be getting another, need to find one first and they don't turn up often. I won't be giving up though, if anything I'm more determined now.
