I used to bring my laptop around until I found this....

X-Drive pro! fitted with 40 GB capacity HDD. Small, light weight, takes CF, SD cards. Rechargable too. And it's also a MP3 player (not that I ever used that function).

A lot more convenient for downloading on the move than a laptop. And it let's you rest better as you don't have a chance to look and edit your pictures till you are back from the trip. :cheesy:

yeah, but money is tight - so i doubt i'd be taking that along.

how much is it anyway?

I'm just gonna get a couple more cards instead, and download at the end of the day (and burn to CD at the same time)

but (gasp) I'm also taking along film
