Could you use rope lights in a homemade canopy? The ones with the plastic coating.

Yes, but only as mood lighting. They're not that bright. Plus you'd have to curl 14ft of lights up under your canopy.

i was wondering the same thing since i have some and they have a dimmer control. i've been looking for some diy moon light ideas.

I have a 12" high back and he doesen't need much light; thanks.
