first i keep all my fish tanks in my backyard in the shed (the shed looks like a 1 bedroom house)..anyways someone broke in it lastnight sometime and stole all my juvenile and baby peacock bass along with fish tank eqpt..they tried to take the big mono but werent able to for some reason..i made a police report but i really doubt they are going to follow up on it..i hooked up a security cam system that i can view/record to my computer..i'm angry n sad at the sametime..all i can think is y would someone steal pbass for??

damn thats crazy. had to have been somebody that knew what you had. i doubt a regular burglar would go through the trouble if they found your fishtank. they would most likely be looking for high-dollar stuff they could quickly sell. this sounds like they knew exactly what they were looking for

Your average burglar would not be inclined to take fish, which leads me to believe it was somebody who knew what you had. Doesnt make sense for them not to take the Moto though...
Unless they werent after money, just some equiptment and the p bass. In this case, your going to have to do your own investigatory work. Get a list of probable suspects and then go see if they have anything "new" in their tanks.

#1 reason if you meet somebody off craigslist, never let them come to your house.

agree 100%

but not just craigslist, even on here..if i don't know you, we're meeting somewhere and not my house :D

Yep definatley an "inside" job, had to be someone that's been to your place and scoped out your fishroom.. :( Sorry for your loss..
