You should seek restitution for the pbass. Get ahold of the lead detective on the case and tell him you want compensation for the fish you lost because you suffered a significant financial loss due to the crime (as long as you have a way to prove the value of the fish you should have no trouble getting a judge to order restitution). They should contact you anyway, but I would be calling them. You may not see the money for a few years as it sounds like the guys will do some time for the theft due to the dollar value, but atleast you have a shot of recouping your money later on down the road.

you have got to be pretty messed up in the head to want to steal fish.. i mean comming from the criminals point of view if u were to make any profit off stealing fish you would need a lot of equipment, so they were most def crack heads.. pretty doped up too i bet. anyhow best of luck getting ure claim and hope u get more fish.
i got something up my sleeve for them..i dont want to say too much but where their at right now they are locked up with some family of mine..i'm not a violant guy at all..i'm humble and enjoy life to the fullest, but they deserve wats coming to them..i'm in process of getting my big mono a friend and once they are settled i'll start up with the babies again..

I'm glad atleast all equipment and power tools got returned. What sucks is they will not spend more that a couple days to a month or two in jail for posession of stolen property. Unless they were charged with other things too (drugs, intent to sell, anything like that) PSP on it's own is just a slap on the hand.... sucks because the victim has to spend months or even years to rebuild what was taken and not to mention the whole court process is such a hassle. Oh and about the restitution, I wouln't plan on getting anything back from them. They are drug addicts, they are not going to pay up. I got scammed and had some money stolen from where I work and we will never see that money back, hate to say it! Anyways, good luck and I hope you find a good deal on some new babies...
