If you get a grammodes i would suggest ordering them from rapps as me along with a few others who have ordered them from dan believe he has a poor bloodline that doesnt carry the reds and blues you want out of them... Mel has a a great breeding pair of red istlanum in one of his videos and is the main reason why i bought a red... Good luck with whatever you buy

Is go with the red istlanum all day! If Joe ever brings any more back ill try to buy him out lol. And I believe both greens and reds get same size. My old wild red male is pushing 12".
Basing this off pm's i got from some ppl. I'm not bashing Dan because not every fish can be great. Some ppl carry better specimans than others. I am however starting to think that the fish i was giving werent what i payed for. I'm not hijacking this thread so good luck to the OP with the fish you buy..
I know he has great quality fish i just stated that from what a few people have told me is his grammodes arent top notch compared to most of his other fish. I have bought fish i wasnt happy with from a few other vendors on here but other fish ive gotten from them were great. I didnt say dan has the worst stock of fish so dont make it out like that. If dan is the only one who has green istlanums i would probly buy them from him cuz no one else carries them. Not bashing Dan so dont make it out the way
What size tank you keep that pair in...4' big enough or needs to be 6.
I sold that pair but the guy whos owns them is keeping them in a 5' 120g. if it were me id go with that or a 6', 125g.
What's their personality like? I've read they're very owner responsive and fun to keep... but other people say they're shy.
I agree with Aquamonster. I also bought a 5 inch male from Dan and the color is just not as strong as the colors of my Jeff Rapps Grammodes.
It's not to say that Dan has poor quality because the Umbee, Festae, Haitiensis, and Beani I bought from him are great looking. I plan on buying from Dan again in the next two weeks but it seems to be that Rapps is the place to go for great colored Grammodes.
