Cant decide which fish i should breed?

Honduran Red Points? They will breed while relatively small i believe, I am fairly sure they reach sexual maturity around the same size as a convicts.
But I have never owned or bred HRPs so i am not sure

HRPs are not readily available where I am from, but then again nothing is readily available in Kansas.

Both those species are readily available from Petsmart/Petco or a LFS.
Get a rarer species if you intend to breed (as it will be MUCH easier to get rid of fry)
Think about it, why would someone buy fish from you (even if cheaper), if they can buy from a MegaStore which would be more convenient, and have a 15 day guarantee.
HOWEVER, you can still breed your fish. Just don't expect them to rehome fast.

Absolutely agree(Petsmart), none around here in Ohio sell true Honduran Red Points, and I have worked for Petsmart for over 3 years. Also we have 12 within 75 miles from me, I would know. They have Convicts which look the same....kinda, but their worth squat for profit.
I have never seen any HRP's around here, even in other LFS's, Firemouths I have though. I'd pay more money for a HRP anyday than a firemouth. As long as it's a real one, some people scam others with some really nice looking Convicts as HRP's.
