last weekend my fiance' picked up a new catfish for her 55 gallon. He is a little guy but fiesty! When I removed him from the bag, he opened he fins and got stuck in the bag....me, not thinking clearly at the time grabbed him on the sides and he sent one of his fins right down the tip of my finger...I actually lifted my hand up and he was stuck in my finger trashing around until I pulled him out...it KILLED
now, he is only about 4" (IF that). He is black with white spots all over him and on the sides of him, past his gills going to his tail fin he has "sturgeon like" spines/barbs/scales or whatever you want to call them. Needless to say, I know nothing about this guy. I dont know what he is, how big he gets, etc...anyone have any clue's? I will try to get a pic up but he is always under his rock!
