He could, as a quick meal. :P

Possibly, although he has some pretty nasty barbs so Im sure if he was a meal, he would take down the guy eating him as well!

a few weeks ago, one of my florida gars killed my tea cup stingray during the night...

they are feisty when it comes to there spines, as most cats are, it is there defense mech. if youve never seen an xxl pleco get aggro with another fish you have no idea what pectoral spines are capable of. i watched my old 20" pleco put holes in my 10" amarillo thats my avatar. i tried housing them together and the amarillo started harassing the pleco, after a few minutes of it the pleco let loose, swam out to the middle of the tank and when the amarillo came close he thrashed side to side, it was pretty brutal, dont think the amarillo was expecting it, i know i wasnt.

spotted raphs are cool, mine doesnt seem to grow at all in length but he sure stays lookin like he swallowed a ping pong ball

I have a pleco that is about 14" and I had a upside down cat in my tank with him (he is in the womens tank now) but they would always fight and it would be pretty brutal.
