Cant get a snake!!!!!!

I still live at home and I have four snakes. My parents only know about one of them. :D

Pythons are great, mine all live in nice big tubs in my closet. As long as your parents respect your privacy and don't go through your stuff it's no problem.
 
Have some sympathy for your poor mother. Just forgo the snake until you move out. It won't kill you.

where is the fun in that. He should live a little, get into some trouble just for the sake of getting into trouble...

Lol. These guys get away with a lot. For me it was WW3 just to get a hamster and even than I got it when I was 18 :nilly:.

I did wind up with a wife who is terrified of geckos which I love but do not have so the pain continues.
 
But I have to get it shipped and my dad wouldn't do that. He might have done it a few years ago but he has calmed down from his ADHD. I also inherited his ADHD. Now I am starting to shuffle to get my hyperness out of my system and... what r we talking about?
 
:nilly:oh yea. Ill probably just start off with a cornsnake or a bullsnake or a king snake or a rat snake. Which ever I am able to get my hands on. Ive been trying to explain that I could literally keep them in a closet and she would never have to see them but she says just the idea of a snake in the house creeps her out. Ill probably just stick with fishkeeping and Shuffling(:headbang2) untill I move out :P
 
Wow I never knew how fortunate I was. My mom isn't crazy about snakes, but she let me get a Ribbon and probably a Kenyan Sand Boa in the summer. try kicking you-know-what on your grades and doing extra chores. Get those clips that hold the lid down so she doesn't think it can get out, and get one that eats frozen. Or get something small that doesn't need rodents, like a Garter, whihc can eat Tilapia fillet and earthworms, a Ribbon, which needs live fish, or a Green Snake, which can actually eat crickets and wingless fruit flies.
 
ive never tried sneaking a snake home but i used to bring home fish like juvie cichlids and even a baby aro telling my mom they were feeders. and when i was little i kept some bullfrogs under my bed, it worked out great until they escaped
 
try getting a kingsnake and explain to your mom that it eats other snakes so that even if it does get out, it would keep the house clear of other snakes that are actually dangerous....
 
Just get a cornsnake and keep it in one of your drawers or under your bed. Keep your bedroom door closed. Thats what I do and my mom never sees it so she never thinks about it. Just don't talk about it and keep it to yourself.
