Since getting my festae i switched to pellets and they wont take them. They havent been fed their normal food in almost a week probly and still want nothing to do with pellets

Those pellets should do the trick.....
You dont want to starve them for too long man, and theres nothing wrong with feeding worms and krill.

well my festae was bought very stressed so to get her colors i bought the pellets but they just look up at them and never pick at them or nothing

add a few ounces of tank water in a small cup, crush a garlic in it and soak the pellets in the juice for 30 minutes before feeding.

I always have trouble with floating pellets (bio-gold+), especially with new fish... they just won't come to the surface to get them.

Bio-Gold+ is one of the best, but it floats. Most other cichlid formulas come in sinking pellets as well because shy, stressed and small fish rarely eat from the surface... they're not ***E$, they're just cautious.
