i have a pair of convicts and i have some sens, i have never put them together, but when i first got my convicts, i placed them in a 29 with some cat fish and had no problems. in fact they started breeding, so a single in a 75 would work, but i dont guarantee anything tho

Well the commonly available upper jaw polys in LFS are senegals, albino senegals, Ornates and dels can sometimes be pricey as for palmas, mokes and the rest they're quite rare

I had 4 honduras red points (different species of convict) with my ropefish. I thought the ropes were in trouble when they moved over to the cichlids breeding spot, but the red points just moved out and to another area. So if they're fine with ropes, they'll be fine with bichirs.

If you have a big enough tank you should put some delhezi bichirs and a jardini arowana in it. one of the best combos ever!

I have 2 Ornates in a 80g with 5 JD's mix of BG and EBJD and JD, and 1 GT, Zigzag Eel and some Garra Ruffas, they all get along fine, Most important thing is just to have a "safe place" for the bircher to hide in, i have ceramic caves that only he can fit into to hide until night time
