Can't tell if this is an armatus

To get a 100% ID, wait till it's 4 inches or so when i'll get a orange adipose fin or not.

Apidose fin will change colour reguardless. Its dependant on wether or not the apidose fin matches the tail colour at that size. Colour match, its a tat, no colour match is armatus. Jaw/head structer will soon be enough to tell, slight upturned nose will mean tat, downwards nose armatus.

They are armatus. Im surprised no one can tell. I thought we went through this a few years ago. If you had a baby tat to put next to them it would be an easy ID but they are armatus

Gerbo yours is a red tail can tell from jaw structure, and yes thread owners is armatus can tell by jaw structure and birth marks on head.

Seems there a lot of these tiny baby Armatus around lately. Glad there some experts here on identifying these little guys. I'd be to afraid to fork out 70 bucks without knowing for sure or how you can tell.
