to me it resembles a
Emys blandingii
Blanding's Turtle

It looks kind of like a Blanding's Turtle in the last pic, but this turtle is missing the "Box Turtle" hinge on it's plastron, characteristic to that species. Atleast it doesn't appear to have a hinge...

I would say a Hemis. Looks like the common european one. ( Clemmys Caspica?)

he reminds me of a mud turtle too..

by the way what kind of filter are you using?? i can see tubes in the pictures..

I don't see a hinge so I think we can cross box turtle from the list. The more I look at it the more I think Stonecat is right about it being a Vietmanese Pond/Leaf Turtle (Annamemys annamensis).

i thought vietnamese pond too last night but couldnt find a flick that looked as close to this one as yours in the link Estuary... although the asian box turtle thing although i dont think he is a box i found this on wikipedia...
"C. a. kamaroma has hybridized in captivity with the Vietnamese Pond Turtle "
C.a.Kamaroma is an asian box turt for those who didnt know...

he still at the pet store that i was working at in a 30gal to be honest...i have no space for a big aquatic turt...i feel bad for him being in the small tank my friend has room in her pond she has two RES on western painted a yellow belly...and now i will be adding him to the collection and its an enclosed atrium its about 12ft by 12ft and however tall the house is cause its floor to ceicling with heavy screen roof so sun/rain gets in and the pond is like 800 gal so i think this guy due to size he is going to get will be the last edition but we have to clean up the lanscapes and scub the fountain and some rocks...and get it back up to speed befroe we put him in...
