Please tell me there weren't any ivory products among those market gifts.

Unfortunately you do get those areas still. The effects of aparteid can still be felt :(

Only products using warthog tusks, like canes and such, that I know of.

You get walrus ivory and various others. I think most tusks count? Whatever the definition is I don't think any elephant ivory was on sale.
 
Actually with so many members from around the globe, people from wach country should make threads like this just to show the rest of us what its like in their homeland...

Also, the photo of the dog was the best... just because i like dogs...
 
There are ostriches on my way to schols, they are widely kept. Especially in the more barren areas.
Hendre, please get a vid of yourself, provoking and getting attacked by an ostrich.
