Means a lot coming from you Richard. :)

Will be intresting to see how they all turn out. I think the male Marble will be a late bloomer, I see lots of potential there. Hoping to start seeing it in the next few months. The female is already VERY special to me. I believe the heart next to her spiracle, and the one on her back represent her well. All 5 of her brothers and sisters, AND both parents are all deceased. :( Without her I probobly would have left the hobby. Watchin her grow and develop is the only thing that kept me going after watching her siblings and mother slowly pass.

After seeing the cycle of life unfold before your eyes with these amazing creatures it would be hard to imagine living without them. :)

Well i meant every word....top quality rays!
Almost brought a tear to my eyes reading the above,i know exactly where your coming from,i had a similar thing happen to me only last year when i lost my oldest 10inch Hystrix female pup (Jamima) do you remember that fish?,she grew alarmingly on Massivore pellets, i posted her up a few times, she was truly unique, and very special to me having bred her myself.Well she climbed out of the tank she had been in for a very long time and i found her on the concrete floor still alive, sadly she died 6 hours later, that very same week i lost the mother, she was 10 years old but didn't die of old age,she had some internal complications......i too felt like giving up on the Hystrix but for one little female pup i held back, she's 7 inches across the disc now and so chunky, very pleased with her.
So we all have our knock backs its how we recover from them that matters, look at Wimm, his tank broke recently and killed an entire collection of breeding stock rays, all our hearts went out to him that day.If your reading this Wimm i sincerely hope you are coming to terms with the loss and will soon be re-stocking those Hystrix and Scobina to start another breeding project for the future.

Couple recent pics.

Thanks for posting, his yellow is looking nice and bright. Is he holding his own eating with the bigger rays?

Yup, he's having no troubles hanging with the blackies. I've even caught him trying to roll the big bad wolf.
