Yeah I've read a lot of accounts saying that they're sedentary and grow too slow so people get bored, but that's just not me. They're much more active when you have more than one, so I got two. I also just don't get rid of fish often, I get very attached. I gave up 2 goldfish today (that my fiance pardoned from my catfish's meal) and it was hard for me, and I don't even like goldfish lol. I'm also a huuuge catfish fan, more so than any other fish. So I don't think they'll be going anywhere anytime soon!

Post some pics of the gulpers... son and i love them. He was breaking my chops for one until i showed him a vid of one eating a cichlid that was larger than the cat.

Im confused didnt you just get a 300 gal or something ?

Btw toyin has smaller faranah laps. Just tell him to geab the smaler ones.

It's for my TSN and RTCxTSN, and soon I'll be adding another TSN or Ripsaw, haven't decided. When did you talk to toyin? I asked about 2 weeks ago and the smallest he had was 10"

You think they're slim enough to be safe with a 4.5" endli? He's the smallest one in that tank.
I haven't been updating that thread, but I did join the two sumps with a 1" pipe. Talked to a plumber friend and he confirmed my thinking, that if each pump basically worked independently and had their own pump and drain, that the pipe didn't have to be big, because it would only need to handle a few gallons per hour, if anything. Put a union and ball valve on each end of the pipe to allow me to close it off and remove it for cleaning, maintenance etc.

I'm just so used to keeping big cats that I'm always thinking my fish are gonna eat each other. Polys are the first non-catfish I've ever been really into and that just started 6 months ago

Nah i wouldnt worry about these little laps eating a 4.5 endli. Kolotn were bigger and i wouldnt be worried about them either.

Awe man build threads are great... you should update it with pics and how you dis it. You'd be surprised on how useful that stuff is to other members... my sump is gonna be mix of two other members builds...if not for their threads i never would have thought this stuff up n my own.

I like marine depot and brs but flexpvc is much cheaper and they have black sch 40 pvc couldnt find it anywhere
