When i get my shark I would prefer a captive bred one. Do they even sell those?

if I can't find one then I probably won't get a shark pond because I don't want to take a beautiful animal like that out of the wild.

Depending on the species, you can find captive bred sharks. A lot of the smaller carpet sharks breed like rabbits in controlled environments.

what about bamboo sharks

Amen to that! I know a few public places have bred white tip reefs.

If somebody has a 4.5 foot female for me I can get started. Matt know any aquariums that want to unload one:D

I have a problem. their are some restriction in my state for pet sharks. they sell them but you have to have a permit to own one. I guess I will stick to knifefish and puffers. until I can move out of state that is.
