Thanks Colin.

These guys are getting big enough that I'm thinking of keeping both and selling the next litter. Made a couple worm sales today.....things are going well.

You have any more info on the 8w gamma HOB UV serilizer???

I've never used a UV and am looking for something to control algae on my lightly planted tank. With the HOB method, are there any additional pumps or eqipment necessary??

The sterilizer will need a pump or powerhead to cycle water through it. Other than that, it is ready to go. If you would like to call me (248-840-2135) we can talk sterilizers and your options. They are several useful models available, and I can give you some ideas on various setup alternatives.

Max motoro size is about 24", although I wouldn't be too shocked to hear if one was found larger than that. I have heard of few getting over 20", but it is certainly possible. A newborn motoro can reach 12" in a year, although all do not grow that fast. By the way, I love the spots too.
