Nice beaded lizard -

Its definitely a lizard and its definitely venomous - to answer the how question;

they have a simple venom delivery system (which is quite ancient when compared to snake delivery systems) incorporating grooved teeth in the lower jaw and venom glands on the lower jaw - venom is delivered by chewing - don't get bitten by one they are worse than a pit bull to get off (no personal experience of being bitten before you ask) !!!

Not poisonous, it is venomous. There is a difference.
:ROFL::ROFL:Those who breed them can come up with some pretty nice colors.I would like to have one some day but they are pretty costly.
