Did you keep them with small tankmates, angels, and some of the least aggressive eartheaters?

They are not an extremely aggressive fish by any means, but they can be very nippy and aggressive toward smaller fish and less aggressive fish. Plus they are predatory and will eat small stuff. I would certainly never put them with orangeheads and angels. It would be asking for trouble in my opinion. I have no doubt that certain individuals might work but odds are against it.

Angels will be gone but by no means am I willing to risk my orange heads. I wrote off this idea after the first response.

I understand and completely agree with you. Also think they are an extremely cool fish. I just don't think they are right for JWORTH's tank. They are an awesome fish though.
