thanks, i hope she colors up more. im sure she will when she settles in. females supposedly get about 8". jeff didn't mention the collection spot

The spec was collected from the Rio Tapajos.

It has some ammonia issues from shipping (as I can see on fins and eyes) that will heal up quickly.

I kept that fish in a tank with lg earth eaters and even some 4-5" monoculus for a time. It behaved very well for the months that it was here. Hopefully the good manners will continue in Sean's tank as well.

Lets hope it does. As we all know it depends on the specific fish. Its a great looking fish. It does have a certain unique look to it. I would not mind having one myself. Good luck with it and feel free to send me any fish that it decides to pick on!

well i guess she's feeling alot better b/c she's starting to get frisky. she's starting stuff with my female rotkeil and datnoid. the rotkeilis starting to backdown since she is about 2" smaller. the dat and her are going at it a bit. i'll have to keep an eye on her for the time being. she kinda hangs near the top looking for the other fish passing by...
