Cichlids of Americas (Dan) is a great guy to deal with. I have a large pair of these (currently separated). Male has gotta be a foot long and almost solid black with blue and black scales. I've never been a real umbee guy but I really like the look of these. Get some.

The way I understand it the gorillas blue and black are more similar in looks, the blue freckled are different location. My blue freckled ultimate blue umbee looks different.
So blue and black gorillius are both from lake guatape?

I'm with MP--that looks like a Rio Magdalena to me. The electric blue and the red head--gotta be a Rio Mag.

Exactly, I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell which location point had which features of blue freckled but seems like you guys can distinguish. So besides the red head and electric blue, any other features specific to the rio mag that the other location points don't have?
