How was the fight with that tiger? I always wanted to fish for sharks

He was caught on light line, so it was pretty fun. They arent my favorite to fish for but do catch them as by catch regularly. They just dont seem to heat up the reels like some of the gamefish but none the less powerful with tons of endurance. We catch white tip and black tip reef sharks regularly and tigers on occasion.

With the tail maybe 36in. He bit a squid fished with a stand up spinner with 15lb test main line but did have a 50lb mono leader

I would hate to get hit with that sinker! I got hit by a flying sinker once and it wasn't good.

This one was caught off a moored platform in about 60ft right at sunset and bit a large strip of kawakawa or the wavy back tuna with 80lb mono leader with 50lb main line.

No, I was confused lol I thought you meant a Spinner like a LURE rigged with Squid as a trailer of something along those lines. Didn't realize you were referencing Spinning tackle haha
