Carbon use in filters

sure you can use it but you must replace it frequently or it doesnt serve a purpose.

Ok, someone said once a month was good? That's about how I do it... what do you think about that??
And so you don't think that I'm just doing for extra work, ever since I have been using it and changing it about every month.. my water clearity has changed drastically... so that's why I want to continue doing it..

yeah once a month is a fine. it does do its job when replaced when its supossed to be. i have so many tanks id be in the poor house if i changed it monthly. plus my filtration is plenty to keep my tanks crystal! thats rad you actualy stay on top of changing it.
