Hello does anyone use the white super natural by carib sea and if so is it fine or thicker like the black color sand ., anyone have pics as well I cant seem to find it anywhere .

I'm pretty sure it is very fine. "Torpedo Beach" is quite coarse and is slightly off-white/clear.

found another brand that was 3m thick and i loved it but the back label read silica coated so i turned away from it need the super natural imo its the best i just cant find the white in 3m or at least close to it

Which one are you talking about brent?

Rays will probably do fine with the super naturals fine white sand, but fine sands like that tend to stick to the rays disks allot. Also the rays will constantly be kicking it up and it will get into your filters. I had fine sand in my first pond, when I cleaned out that things filters after about a year I found 3-4 20lb bags worth of sand in them.

I use torpedo beach myself and highly recommend it for rays. You can get an idea of what it will look like here: http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?456591-Lots-Of-Pictures-Of-My-Collection

All those rays in the group shots are on torpedo beach.

I'm using the kon tiki i think, it's fine but i just looked at it under a microspcope an it seems to be sharp so im changing to a sand. Their brown sand is probably what ill use, forgot the name though.
