my 9 small cariba ate all my 2-4 inch bristlenose so now im trying a 12 inch common pleco. my my my my cariba

ya thats the thing. they shouldnt have been hungry as i feed them everyday plus there is jewel cichlids in there they can eat if they get to hungry. i think they killed him out of spite. oh well. i get my bristlenose for 2 dollers so no biggy.

My buddy has 5 Reds and 2 Cariba and he can't keep anything in the tank. He has tried several Plecos from big to small and none have ever lasted more then a day or so.

I have had RBPs eat plecos much larger than they were, they would be fine for a while but one morning all that would be left of the cat was a hollowed out head.

you have to remember anything in yur pygo tank will eventually get eaten

not everything. . .. thats not true, depends on if the p's are well feed. and their personality all fish are diffrent!
