Yes, Octos is the best algae eater fish out there and they working nonstop to keep you tank clean or at least reduce ton of algae. I got octocinlus in my Jaguar cichlid tank and I have to say these tiny fish know how to survive and not ended up in my Jag tomatch.

Glad to see you have moved them into something bigger. because of their aggression and the amount of money it would cost me to bring them to Canada , it makes anything other than owning Reds' unappealing. I can pick up reds' for $12.00 a piece here, I've found a 3" caribe for $150.00 at the LFS , it just isn't worth it .
