Has any one ever kept an Arrowana with a shoal of Piranhas. I have a 150 gallon)72x18x29. ive notice that piranhas stick to the bottom mainly, and i know for a fact that arrowana only swim and the top level. would this be possible?

Problem is that piranha naturally feed by biting chunks off larger fish. So the aro would most likely get slowly chewed to death.

I'm not trying to be mean but...........

Hell to the Naw..................................................

No

Never

Don't try it

never

Please don't

Hell NO!!!!

Ok seriously....Piranhas can only be kept with other piranhas unless they are from the sera family.....which means that can only be solo

well the only reason i asked that was because i have a larger pleco 12+ inches thats been with them since ive had them and they dont really bother him. they seem more interested in eachother and who is the king of the tank.

Yeah, but a pleco looks like a big rock lol. Remember Ps are attracted to movement, say like a big yummy aro cruising around the tank...

chomp chomp chomp...arowanaless :(
