Caribe with 20 inch Arrowana

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Your 72 x 18 x 29 is to small to even keep an silver aro in. A 20" aro will be over 24" within a couple months, and at that size the minumum size tank it should be kept in would be 180g 72 x 24 x 24. Under the right conditions I do beleive the aro and pirahna could be kept together, but I think this would have to be in a tank that is much larger then most any home aquarium.

Everyone predicts dead aro, even without knowing the size of the pirahna :screwy:

That clip makes every thread end badly...

Has any one ever kept an Arrowana with a shoal of Piranhas. I have a 150 gallon)72x18x29. ive notice that piranhas stick to the bottom mainly, and i know for a fact that arrowana only swim and the top level. would this be possible?

 you know very little:confused:

Just like most girls will said to you.

No

Don't

I know the obvious question in that youtube video is why would you put an arowana with all the piranhas, but I think the even bigger question is why would you film it, post it on youtube, and put some fruity R&B song in the background.

That is the bigger question. Pretty stupid to put anything with piranhas. I don't understand the draw to them in the first place myself.

Some of like them.

From what I understand you should only keep pygos with pygos and serras should be by themselves. If you want to TRY a tank mate see the sticky about questionable tank mates.
