Caring for injured fish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Sometimes I think Del tries to act like he knows everything and that people are morons for disagreeing with his opinion. What you are saying makes complete sense to me Mie. If you are dealing with a Physical injury i think that cooling down gradually for the first 48 hours could very well help decrease any swelling and then slowly raise the temps back up induce the metabolism for repair... As for infections I would raise right away add salt melafix/pimafix.... IMO any how...

Thanks for your input everyone. I am not trying to start another thread where people get to arguing so much it gets closed. I'm not only addressing this bt but a pm I rec'd on this.

If anyone wants to insult, or make people intimidated to respond, do it on your own thread, not mine.

This isn't a college debate class. This is a website where we come to talk to our friends and fellow fishlovers to share ideas they have, or observations made that may or may not be scientifically correct.

I've used this method several times on my fish, and stopped swelling, bruising and scale loss.

I was trying to share a possible way to help other fish, although one of you had a good point, do Aro's have a brain? ha ha

Peace out
Mei

I like that "peace out" stuff...has a certain woodstockian, May 68 in Paris, ring to it.....

Yeah, well, it's in the blood, my Mom did her undergrad at UC Berkeley and I was a champagne baby from the summer of love!!!!

Too bad tie dye isn't a color option for letters here!:hearts:
