AI fools people into believing in it, like some circus fortune teller does, using the same psychological tricks. The victims invest like a spooked widow.
AI companies are faking AI in this way, to promote AI, and also promote fear of other AI, so you will buy into their “better” & “safer” version of AI.
Like an anti-missile missile defense.
BUT, he says….."The marketing was just years ahead of the engineering."
That is to say, they are selling a pig in a poke. The “engineering” is really only the engineering of a complex parlor trick.
