I hear it is possible for them to hybridize. So I'm wondering how?And is it easy, because I would want to try it?Thanks

I've heard of it as well, but never seen any actual evidence of it.

Supposed to look like this:

ive got a small one in my pond face of a carp body of a goldfish short and stockt sort of look like a crucian.

i got one at my LFS once. they had it labled as large feeders, 0.50$ a piece:)

Heard some koi breeders try comet goldfish to cross with koi to see what happened. Resulted fertile hybrid.

Actually, the hybrids are infertile and can have severe deformities. It's a pretty unusual event even in a mixed-species pond, but it is possible. I don't see any reason for trying to create the hybrid, anyway - what would be the point?

I dunno.probably just to show people it's possible.Migth be fun to have one.Though I probably wouldn't think it would be useful past the "pet" point.
