I pulled a couple hundred fry just in case "they do not do it right"....Tank is a bit dirty from being "seeded"....

Congrats on the spawn... Should be cool lookin fish. Doesnt look like she even laid "a couple hundred" eggs though...

if you get a nice female out of the batch turn around and breed her back to the father thats how you get super red texas.

I am going to follow up on this very thoroughly...The eggs are developing faster than anything I have seen. The tails are extremely long as well. The parents put all of their fry under the gravel bed, that is why I pulled some. In the last picture, I took it from under the tank, and circled some of the heavy pockets of fry...I have seen fry come out of the gravel, and I have seen fry suffocate...I did not want to chance missing the opportunity at fry.
