THANK YOU....I joined this forum a long time ago but went away to school and didnt come back until recently as I have been finaly able to get into fish. I have been searching all over for info on SRT and especially short body/bonsai flower horns and srt's. I was really lucky to stumble upon and purchase 3 baby Short Body Texas'. I have been growing them out, i think i have one male, and two females (i picked the three shortest of the batch) my male is growing like a weed, and i recently came across a nice red BP and hopping I will get fry from them. I havent found much info on this, so i was REALLY happy to come across this thread

I may have to take a trip down your way when I go to vancouver and pick up some of those parrot babies !! keep us posted

I know your experimenting, but why don't you get yourself a SRT imported and breed your frys with it?
I know they are expensive...they are here in England anyway, but if you get a importer you can get one for £7 each ($10ish), my friend just imported in 40 of them...they look amazing, i just got no room to keep any
