Hey Tee504la, thanks for the updates. This is a super cool project you have going. I was wondering is your pond heated? If not, when is the earliest you can put the fry out without having them die of the cold?

I am working on the next generation of Shinto Dragons and would love to grow out my fry in a pond. By the way, looks like you've done really well with Breeding Red Texas, are you going to try your hand at breeding some Super Red Texas?

my ponds is not heated and in new orleans it gets cold but not freezing like in northern states. i usually put them out in feb/mar time and take them out around oct/nov, but this year i think I'm going put heaters in the pond and keep them in.
