Female king kong parrot is laying eggs for the 3rd time with carpintis, and is guarding the flowerpot aggressively, last two times eggs were white.
This time what should i do? get the flowerpot into another tank after eggs have been laid or the male must fertilize the eggs first?

Male is not aggressive as the kkp, and it is moving gravels around.

leave it for about 4 hours after she stops laying so the male has time to do his bit..
then put the eggs in a tank with an airstone next to them.
add a bit of meth blue to prevent fungus..
if they have only layed a few times and the eggs went white, they didnt eat them,
maybe he just didnt fertilize them, thats normal as they have to learn..

If they don't fight and don't eat the eggs after laying the eggs, I would recommand leaving both parents in there. Or at least leave the female in there. From all my breeding experience, the mom has been the one fanning the egg and bringing the wigglers back to the pit. The eggs should be stay clear for a day or two. White eggs are infertile eggs which the parrents should pick out. The good ones will eventually have two black dots on them. I've learned not to change water or change tank before the breeding process start. Change in water condition has messed a number of my breeding project. Could this be cause of your white eggs? You may want to check your water params. Currently, I have a batch of BPxshort body Texas. The frys been swimmers for two-three weeks and they're still with the parents.

Well, the female always end up eating the eggs, maybe because i walk pass by too much, they got stressed. If the male has fertilized the eggs, they will turn black/brown right?

omg i feel so bad. I was changing water and gravel vacing poops, and the kkp has been defending in front of the pot all the time, not inside the pot this time. And then i saw eggs being sucked up, which really sux, and glad to see fertilized eggs this time.
I also added Pimafix, will that be helpful?
And will they eat the eggs due to stress by water change?

aww GL i hope they spawn again for u.

Any pics of the kkp? Also, why do a water change the day they spawned?

i net out all feeder fish and made a water change, also added pimafix for fungus infection. I don't want to stress them with flash, here are some old pictures. You might have seen it before.

After seeing the second picture, i realized everytime it spawns, its eyes turn yellow.

kkp almost suicided when i turned on the light.
I also ordered a jager 200w aquarium heater online, what will be the right temp to hatch eggs? 80 82 or 84?
