According to what I have heard from a Breeder in Thailand that I bought my mated SRT female and Green Texas from, fish are raised at tank temps aroung 3deg less than the avg temp og 89 to 90 degrees. I keep mine set at around 86deg...nore more than that. I was also told that they prefer dirtier conditions as well. Here is my pair from Thailand...... I LOVE THIS PAIR!!!!!!! I am waiting for the magic to begin!!!!!!​

i love carpintis, especially its thick body shape. think these called bucket carpintis? looks like chariel.
Also your red texas is orange, will red flesh fry comeout redder?
