I've used Garlic Guard in the past to get finicky fish to eat. Just soak the food in a couple drops and it's always worked like a charm. It's kinda expensive though but it lasts forever. I've also read that the garlic helps prevent internal parasites as well but I dont know this to be fact.
He ate a floating cichlid pellet today, reluctantly. He stared at it for a bit, swawm around some, then grabbed it...spit it out, swam away, came back, and finally crunched it up and ate it.
He ate some bloodworms today. Hopefully that indicates he doesn't have parasites, he's just really picky. I have to resist the urge to keep offering pellets though because mostly he just looks at them, and then the SDs or Pike get them.
