You should have bought them when James was thinking about selling them! I know I was tempted and I'm not even a big fan of the species like you are.

You holding on to these guys for a while now James? I would if I were you.

I bought my dovii pair as adults. All of the other species I wanted to work with I wanted to grow out for myself.

If your asking about the pictured fish, the male is the bigger one. In general, venting is the best way, although size/body shape in this species can be a pretty good guess. I don't buy into the black dorsal thing.

I agree 100%. If we got your camera skills over here to shoot a few of my female escondido's, we would give that theory a run for it's money.
