We'll see when the time comes about the fry. He is aggressive only to males around his size. He chased my 6" male synspilum around non stop but everyone else he left alone, even 2" convicts, JDs and green texas. I need the tank hes in and the only other tank I have is a 125 with my 7" male red texas, male synspilum, few others & 2 more red texas on the way and I dont want to risk losing any of my red texas.

This was just an experiment cause my green Texas female has been wanting to breeding for a long time. She tried with a BP x Texas but he wasn't fertile. Then she was courting a synspilum but he wasn't interested in her at all. Then I came across this guy and decided to give it a try.
