I would love to try some texas type hybrids like this. I cant find any texas around my area. Heck cant find anything but oscars and jack dempsey around here.

Looks like a red texas you have there. Most male red texas' are sterile. Hopefully you are lucky and it works.
To separate them carefully net them but don't take them of of the water. just put a cup inside the tank and put the eggs in it so you can transport them without gravity swishing them.or put the breeding trap in there and put the eggs in.
The male got murdered eggs eaten but the female is trying to bred with my other carpi
