my garden has needed a lot of watering these days, so I've been doing about 100 gallons per day water changes that are piped to the garden. Seems the fresh water has perked up a couple H carpintus chairel. Dropped in an eggcrate divider to separate the other 4 carpintus from the courters.

Still going at it today, although no spawning yet.
The males profile has steepened a bit, and the female is a bit more round.
At the same time that I upped the water change schedule, I also increased the current in the tank, and this is the side they seem to have chosen to clean, and may be the spawning site.

Noticed the male had darkened a bit, looked around and found some well camouflaged eggs on the side of a rock and hidden inside an old flower pot.
