Carroll Shelby dead at 89

I know i missed him watching the Barrett and Jackson car auctions.. they always mentioned him.. so many cars were his design that they sold.. RIP

Carroll . I ordered a Carroll Shelby tshirt yesterday, crazy.

I just bought a Shelby Cobra t-shirt last weekend! Crazy, crazy!

He definitely will be missed but his legacy will live on!

Sad he passed, but (as a Mustang owner/collector) I think people give him too much credit. The thing he did best was take other people's ideas and stick them together. Very little he did was actually his own work. He marketed his name VERY well. But when you look into the details, a lot of stuff people associate his name with wasn't really his own work. There are several names (still around) that have done and are still doing more for the automotive/racing/Mustang world.
