Cat for 55g tank?

check out bumble bee cats. the north american and south american versions only get to about 3in so u could have a small school. the african version gets up to 6 so even then u culd have more than one.

Are you sure you're not thinking of the Asian bumblebee cat? I don't think Africa or North America (at least not north of Mexico) has one. The Asians are pretty sweet, love to have one some day.

you may be right, i just know when i googled it there were north american, south american and then some eurasian/african species.

Well gulpers will work.... But there has to be a fish wider than its mouth in there or bye bye to all ur smaller fish.

don't electric cats get fairly large? like too big for a 55g.
I want this to be the permanent home.

Nah a 55 gallon is 48" and the Bullheads get around 14" so the 55g is larger....
